Self-propelled mobile mechanical plant includes excavators, loaders, and heavy rollers. These can be hazardous to use for operators, and appropriate protective structures need to be in place to prevent injury.
Operators of self-propelled mobile mechanical plant machinery are at risk of injury from roll-over and from heavy objects falling on or intruding into the cab they are seated in.
