Safer Farms has launched its Annual Farmer and Grower Survey, giving farmers, growers and their teams across New Zealand the chance to share what's really happening on farm when it comes to health, safety and wellbeing.
The survey is a key tool in understanding what's working well – and where there's still work to do – on farms nationwide. Responses directly inform the programmes, resources and initiatives Safer Farms develops in partnership with the sector, ensuring the support on offer stays practical, relevant and grounded in real on-farm experience.
"We want to hear about the wins and the near-misses – the things that keep farmers up at night," says Programme Lead, Natalie Bowie. "Every response helps us build a clearer picture of what's happening on farms across the country, so we can do better work alongside the people who need it most."
Safer Farms is encouraging the whole farm team to take part – owners, staff, trustees and family members alike – as a wider range of voices leads to a more accurate picture of health, safety and wellbeing across the sector.
As a thank-you for taking part, every completed survey goes into the draw to win 1 of 4 awesome prizes worth $2,000.
The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and is open now.
